Parliament just announced the next session will include amending the budget. It’s on TV now…Sudani wanted this done by the 6th, no later than the 7th and now they’re come out 3 days later saying okay, okay okay we’re going to do it. TV keeps going over the parliament plans on amending the investment budget in the next two sessions that are coming… FRANK: If they truly do anything with the budge it will be exposing the new exchange rate.

1-11-2025 Intel Guru Bruce [via WiserNow] …we did understand that there was a conference call…that would have incorporated all of the redemption centers, leaders and bank managers, at least bank managers throughout the country, the US…what was interesting was that there were two main things…that they discussed…on this conference call, one of which was that these currencies which we’re exchanging, they are not a taxable event…it was designed to be way on purpose. Now, the income that you earn from interest being paid on your account in the bank that interest is called passive income, and it will be taxed, but the event itself, the exchange of currencies…is not taxable… [Always check with your tax professional at the appropriate time.]

Normally when something like this happens the IMF works with that central bank of that country and they figure out a time frame. It can be three months…six months. It can be a year. The Untied Sates of America never cancelled our 3 zero notes… America never stopped allowing 3 zero notes to be exchanged but I got a feeling Iraq will and they should.

Last time [Trump was in office] they didn’t make any changes and what ended up happening was they had to devalue the dinar before the country went bankrupt. So this time around they might jump ahead of this and devalue the dinar ahead of time so that the impact is not that hard against the Iraqi people and against Iraq if crude oil prices go down.

I have one who will not tell me what the re-negotiated rate is on their contracts. One of them mentioned $3.91 but I do not know for certain if that is really it. Its from a contact I don’t know really well.

Yes, they still are not a free country until they get back their currency, which means to control their own wealth…Also I want to mention…the CBI reserves are in the bank in New York JP Morgan/Chase DFI fund amounting to over $120 billion dollars. And so Iraq will also have to recover these funds too. The UN already decreed these funds should be returned to Iraq…we are watching this closely.

Similar to how Kuwait did theirs…. In a nutshell…Kuwait got a REER (Real Effective Exchange rate) and within 10 days we started exchanging.
