Republican Party strategist John Akouri confirmed that the Iraqi Prime Minister has never lived outside his country, and has no loyalty outside Iraqi borders.
“Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani has never lived outside his country, so he has no loyalty outside Iraq’s borders, and I hope he will be instrumental in moving Iraq forward, ” Akouri said in a televised statement followed by “Mil.” “Development and stability in Iraq make it a candidate to play a major role, not only in the region, but in other parts of the world,” Akouri continued. “The previous US administration put Iraq policy at the bottom of the list, and this allowed China and Iran to exploit the gap and vacuum. I hope we will see a different role with the next administration.”
