Parliamentary Integrity Commission reveals corruption case of Jordanian banks in Iraq

Member of the Parliamentary Integrity Committee, Hadi Al-Salami, confirmed today, Tuesday, the involvement of the Jordan National Bank in the dollar crisis in Iraq.
Al-Salami told Al-Maalouma Agency, “The Parliamentary Integrity Committee has repeatedly demanded that the Prime Minister withdraw the hand of the Governor of the Central Bank due to suspicions of corruption and squandering of Iraqi public money.”
He added, “After investigation and scrutiny, the committee found legal violations committed by the Central Bank of Iraq by granting the Jordan National Bank a percentage of the dollar.”
He pointed out that “the committee continues to host bank managers and concerned parties to determine the facts of the Jordanian Bank’s involvement in the dollar crisis.”
