After its forces were bombed in Iraq America deployed a B-52 bomber in the Gulf airspaceInformation/Translation..
A report by the US Air Force’s Airspace Force website revealed on Saturday that the United States had flown a B-52 bomber over the Middle East on a 32-hour flight at the time when US forces were attacked on July 25 and 26, according to US officials.

The report, which was translated by Al-Maalouma Agency, stated that “the heavy bomber took off from Romania, then flew over the Mediterranean Sea, crossed into the Central Command area over Jordan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the Gulf region, then returned towards the Atlantic Ocean.”

“The B-52 mission provided a broad range of options… to deploy combat-ready forces to protect and defend the region,” Air Forces Central Command said in a news release today.

The statement explained that “the mission also included flying with A-10 aircraft, while an American official said that the aircraft did not land in the Central Command area, but met with Qatari F-15 aircraft, which reflects a show of force in the region.”

However, it appears that not everything went according to plan, as a frequent poster on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) posted a clear radio transmission from the B-52 as it was returning home solo to the United States, with the crew stating that “the second plane had a mechanical problem and did not take off.”
