Toyota tops car sales in Iraq in the first quarter of 2024Shafaq News/ “Focus 2 Move”, a company specialized in providing data on automobile markets, revealed on Thursday that sales of Japanese company Toyota cars topped others during the first quarter of this year.

The company stated in a statement seen by Shafaq News Agency, “In terms of cumulative data during the first three months of this year at the brand level, Toyota cars are in the lead, with 9,548 cars sold, an increase of 24.3%, followed by Kia.” Secondly, total sales amounted to 8,471 cars, an increase of 4.2%.

She explained that “Hyundai ranked third with 4,051 cars, a decrease of 24.4% compared to the previous year, then (MG) came in fourth place with 2,921 cars, an increase of 97.4%, and (Chery) came fifth with 1,990 cars, a decrease of 25.5%, and (Chevrolet) In sixth place with 1,348 cars, a decrease of 10%.

She pointed out that “Changan maintained seventh place with sales of 919 cars, an increase of 3.5%, followed by BAIC with 692 cars, then Suzuki Wall with 690 cars, and finally Great Wall with sales of 536 cars.”
