The representative of the coordination framework, Muhammad Al-Zayadi, revealed today, Friday, that the third round of the session for electing the Speaker of the House of Representatives will be held next week.
Al-Ziyadi told Al-Maalouma, “The coordination framework left matters to the Sunni House to agree on a president to represent them in the House of Representatives, but they did not reach an agreement, which forced the Shiite House to intervene in an attempt to resolve the issue.”
He explained, “The Shiites would not have intervened had they not received the green light from the Sunnis.”
He pointed out, “One of the representatives of Taqamud violated the internal regulations of the House of Representatives and caused chaos.”
