The coordinating framework, Ali Shaddad Al-Faris, stressed, on Wednesday, the insistence on the need to pass the draft general budget law during a single parliamentary session.
The representative of the coordination framework, Ali Shaddad Al-Faris, said in an interview with Al-Maalouma, that “determining the voting session for the draft federal budget law came under parliamentary pressure and collected signatures that exceeded 100 signatures,” noting that “there is a semi-final agreement for paragraphs 13 and 14 of the Kurdistan region.”
He added, “The majority of parliament members from various political forces, including the National Union and the New Generation, are determined to pass the budget as soon as possible.”
Al-Fares pointed out that “the session tomorrow, Thursday, must decide the overall vote on the budget law in one session, even if it extended for long hours, and on the contrary, the vote may be postponed until after Eid al-Adha.”
The parliament’s agenda included setting a session for tomorrow, Thursday, as a date for holding the voting session on the general budget.
