Shafaq News agency reporter monitored the Central Bank’s sales during the past week for the five days in which the auction was opened, as it amounted to 1 billion 261 million 409 thousand 501 dollars, at a daily rate of 252 million 281 thousand 900 dollars, up by 13.13%, compared to what was recorded last week. The one that preceded it, which amounted to a daily rate of 223 million 3 thousand and 610 dollars.

Our correspondent added that the highest dollar sales during the past week were on Thursday, when sales amounted to 275,177,166 dollars, while the lowest sales were on Monday, when sales amounted to 116,446,450 dollars.

He pointed out that sales of foreign remittances during the past week amounted to 1 billion and 39 million and 9 thousand and 501 dollars, an increase of 78% compared to cash sales, which amounted to 222 million and 400 thousand dollars.

He explained that sales went in the form of cash and transfers abroad to finance foreign trade, while the selling price of documentary credits and international settlements for electronic cards reached 1,305 dinars per dollar, while the selling price of remittances abroad and the cash sale price amounted to 1,310 dinars per dollar.
