Today, Tuesday, a member of the House of Representatives, Thaer Al-Jubouri, ruled out the impact of the political blocs’ differences over the St. Lego law on passing the budget law for the year 2023, while he considered the “most important” budget law during the current stage in the House of Representatives.
Al-Jubouri said in an interview with Al-Maalouma Agency, “The differences between the political blocs and members of the House of Representatives over the provincial elections law will not affect the passing of the current year’s budget.”
He added, “Passing the law will be at the beginning of the matter by placing a paragraph in the parliament’s agenda, and this confirms the necessity of discussing the draft budget and its paragraphs separately by the political blocs,” noting that “this procedure is necessary in order for the law to be passed smoothly within the dome of parliament.” .
The member of the House of Representatives explained, “The 2023 budget law is the most important at the current stage in the House of Representatives, which requires its speedy passage.”
The House of Representatives had witnessed a turbulent session of conflicts and disagreements between members of the House of Representatives, especially independents, emerging powers and large political blocs, during the vote to pass the provincial elections law.
