The representative of the coordination framework, Ali Shaddad Al-Faris, suggested, on Tuesday, that the draft federal budget law for the year 2023 will reach the House of Representatives next week.
Al-Faris said in a statement to Al-Maalouma, “The House of Representatives is on the cusp of a new legislative chapter that discusses important laws, most notably the budget law for the current year 2023.”
He added, “The House of Representatives intends to pass several important laws next week, on top of which will be the financial budget bill and the Social Security and Retirement Law.”
Al-Fares pointed out that “the House of Representatives is awaiting the arrival of the 2023 budget at the beginning of next week,” stressing that “the legal and legislative measures will be taken as soon as the law arrives to discuss and vote on it.”
And the representative of the State of Law, Aqil Al-Fatlawi, confirmed in an interview with the information agency, that there are three important laws that we will try to pass during the new chapter, pointing out that the first law is the budget, and the second file revolves around the legislation of the provincial councils law, given that there is a great deal of sagging in the provincial councils.
