A member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Representative Nazem Al-Shibli, confirmed, on Thursday, that the commitment of the State Administration Coalition forces to the concluded agreements will facilitate the completion of the budget law and sending it to the House of Representatives at an early date.
Al-Shibli said in a statement to Al-Maalouma, “The State Administration Coalition, when it was formed, had agreed on a number of political, security, economic and service files, including the agreement on distributing funds in the 2023 budget.”
He added, “If those agreements are adhered to, it will certainly facilitate the Sudanese government to complete the draft budget law early and send it to parliament for approval.”
Al-Shibli pointed out that “the specialized committees have completed their tasks,” noting that “there is positive progress in the discussions of the region’s committees regarding the issue of the Kurdistan region’s share in the budget and the issue of the region’s oil.”
