Coordination framework: Washington is pressing to stop the activities of 10 private banks

On Wednesday, the leader in the coordination framework, Jabbar Odeh, revealed US pressure to stop the activities of 10 private banks in Iraq.
In an interview with Al-Maalouma, Odeh said, “The recent dollar crisis was caused by Washington in an attempt to put pressure on the source of the decision in Baghdad in order to achieve several goals, the most prominent of which is closing the activities of 10 private banks under the pretext that they smuggle dollars outside the borders.”
He added, “What is happening represents a transgression and violation of the country’s sovereignty and an attempt to exploit Iraq’s dollar reserves in America to weaken its economy and seek to implement a very dangerous agenda,” calling for “changing the compass of reserves as many countries do to avoid any economic pressure from the White House.”
He pointed out that “the dollar crisis reaffirms that Washington is a source of trouble after its expulsion, and attention must be paid to the seriousness of its economic agenda in Iraq.”
Recently, the dollar crisis caused severe economic pressure on the markets and pushed up the prices of some basic materials.
