Today, Monday, the Al-Fateh Alliance held the caretaker prime minister, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, and his advisors (Al-Batana) responsible for the large corruption files that were recently exposed, while confirming that the smell of the previous government’s corruption reached the United Nations.
And the leader of the coalition, Ali Al-Fatlawi, said, in an interview with “The Information”, “If the head of the house does not know everything that happens in his house, then he is the one who bears responsibility for what happens in his home, especially if there are corruption files, whether it is financial or family.”
He added, “Al-Kazemi does not bear responsibility for the big corruption files alone, but the lining, who are the advisors and whom I chose badly,” stressing that “the advisors were able to color Al-Kazemi’s government in black.”
And the leader in Al-Fateh continued: “Whoever bears the responsibility for major corruption files in the first place is Al-Kazemi, but in the second place they are his advisors and those who have a connection to this matter, whether they are managers or heads of departments.”
And Al-Fatlawi, that “cases of corruption spread during these two years and their smell reached the United Nations, which discussed the type and mechanism of rampant corruption in Iraq.”
