Political parties confirmed that the law of emergency support for food security cannot be implemented on the ground by the caretaker government headed by Mustafa Al-Kazemi, pointing out that the judiciary will have the final say regarding this law.
A member of Al-Fateh Alliance Ghazanfar Al-Bateekh told Al-Maalouma, “The judiciary is the one who will decide the legality of implementing the Food Security Law or not, as the law was passed and voted on in order not to stand against the segments demanding rights and equity.”
On the other hand, former MP Abdul-Hadi Al-Saadawi told Al-Maalouma that “the Federal Court has previously said its word regarding food security, and therefore what he said does not allow the government to implement the law that Parliament voted on as a caretaker, but there is a possibility to implement it in the event that It was sent by the new government to pass and implement.”
On the other hand, political analyst Muayyad Al-Ali said during his interview with “The Information” that “the financial abundance achieved from oil revenues after the increase in prices will be seized by some political parties through the emergency support law, despite the presence of paragraphs that address some errors while They do not represent strategic solutions to what Iraq is suffering.” finished 25
