Today, Thursday, the representative of the Al-Fateh Alliance, Rafiq Al-Salihi, confirmed that the coordination framework and the Sadrist movement will agree to form the new government despite the great differences in viewpoints, while the cordial relationship between the Shiite forces will not break.
Al-Salihi said in an interview with the “Information” agency, “The cord of friendship between the coordination framework and the Sadrist movement will not be broken at all, despite the presence of intersections and controversial issues, but Iraq’s interest will be an incubator to overcome all obstacles standing in front of the two parties.”
He added, “The coordination will agree with the Sadrist movement, no matter how different the two parties are, as they represent the largest component within the parliament and bear the responsibility of forming the new government to serve the Iraqi people,” noting that “the difference of views of the Shiite forces will not solve the political problem and will increase the blockage crisis.”
The representative of the framework explained that “the crises that the Iraqi street suffers from require a patriotic stand and the interests of the country should be given priority at the expense of personal interests,” noting that “the continuation of differences will cast a shadow over the people.”
And Al-Salihi, that “the political crisis will release the vigor and patriotism of the Shiite forces that are looking for the interest of Iraq,” and it is likely that “consensus will be reached between the parties and the parties of the political process and an end to the current crisis in the coming days.”
