On Wednesday, the former deputy in the National Coalition, Intisar Allawi, demanded the dismissal of the government and its accountability, as well as those involved in the case of killing protesters.
Allawi said in a statement to the agency / the information / that “Al-Kazemi’s government must be dismissed and held accountable for killing the demonstrators, just as the government of Adel Abdul-Mahdi was dismissed in 2019 for the same reasons.”
And she indicated that “the right of demonstrations is guaranteed, and the killing of demonstrators cannot be justified, and all those involved must be held accountable, including the government.”
She indicated that “the government of Adel Abdul-Mahdi was dismissed in 2019, so Al-Kazemi must be told and held accountable for killing the peaceful demonstrators who went out to restore their stolen votes.”
A member of the Al-Fateh Alliance, Mukhtar al-Moussawi, confirmed, earlier, that the government, the commission and the judicial authorities ignored the demands of the demonstrators, and none of them went out to the sit-in squares to discuss the demands, pointing out that the government went towards opening fire on the demonstrators, and therefore the elections could not proceed with killing.
