Shafaq News / Today, Sunday, the Iraqi Front saw that the Iraqi Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kazimi, will face a major challenge after Joe Biden officially assumed power in the United States of America.
A leader in the front, Atheel Al-Nujaifi, told Shafaq News, “Certainly, the Al-Kazemi government will be willing to conclude new agreements in various fields with the Biden administration, but will the Al-Kazemi government be able to abide by what is included in the agreements with the United States? This is what is important.”
Al-Nujaifi explained that, “despite the change of the American administration, no one doubts that each of the two administrations has a different vision of achieving the interests of their country, and none of them is willing to give up those interests, so the difference between the two is that Trump believed that the use of force would ensure the compliance of Iran and its allies in Iraq,” While the Biden administration believes that dialogue will guarantee this. ”
He added, “Therefore, the question that will arise at this stage after Iran and its allies have managed to take the stronger role in the Iraqi situation is: Will they accept to concede part of this role to the United States? Or are they continuing to completely exclude the role of the United States from the region?”
The leader of the Iraqi front concluded, “I think that this point is the challenge that the government of Mustafa Al-Kazemi will face, as it will face any dialogue with the United States of America.”
