Representative for the Democrat - The party is able to lead the region alone and close agreements in the areas of Article 140(Baghdad: Al Furat News) The deputy of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Ardalan Nur al-Din, announced, on Sunday, the ability of his party to lead the Kurdistan region alone, while he revealed close agreements regarding the areas of Article 140.
Nour al-Din told Al-Furat News that “the democrat can administer Kurdistan alone, as he won the largest number of votes and electoral seats in the center and the region. We did not seek the authorities, but rather shared the power with the rest of the parties.”
He added, “The democrat relies on his great popularity in Kurdistan to obtain the largest number of votes, and we do not believe that there will be any changes in the number of seats except for losing a seat or two in the upcoming elections.”
Nour al-Din pointed out, “There are no agreements with the political forces on Kirkuk, but in the coming days some agreements will be concluded regarding the areas covered by Article 140,” declaring, “Our doors are open for all parties, whether young or new, to join us, and there are no reasons preventing alliance with the generation.” the new”.
“The demands of the Kurds in Baghdad differ from the demands of the Kurdish parties. It was supposed to agree on some foundations to solve the problems, the most important of which was securing the salaries of the region’s employees,” he said, blaming the central and regional governments responsible for “what happens to the Kurdish people.”
Nour al-Din continued, “The region’s benefits at the center exceed 800 billion dinars, and we have other problems, such as the benefits of oil companies,” pointing to “the transfer of 4 salaries for employees and they only received the salaries of April and September.”
He noted that “the number of the region’s employees is clear to the federal government after sending the private data,” adding, “We have only two main outlets in the region, from which goods enter, and 400 vacancies from the Kurds’ share, and we have not obtained any of them, and the reason is to neglect the only balance and control from the federal government.”
Nur al-Din denied at the end of his speech.
