Speaking to reporters on a conference call, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Moscow had considered it best to wait for the official results before issuing a comment .
Peskov indicated that Putin has repeatedly stressed his readiness to work with any leader of the United States, and that Russia hopes to build a dialogue with the new US administration and find a way to normalize relations .
