The correspondent of Shafaq News Agency said that the Central Al-Kifah Stock Exchange in Baghdad recorded, today, 123200 Iraqi dinars against 100 US dollars, and Al-Harithiya Stock Exchange in Baghdad recorded 123300 dinars compared to 100 Dollars.

While the exchange rate of the dollar on the Kifah Stock Exchange recorded today, Monday, 122900 thousand dinars per 100 US dollars.

Our correspondent indicated that the selling prices in the exchange shops in the local markets in Baghdad also increased, reaching 123,750 Iraqi dinars, while the purchase prices were 122750 dinars per 100 US dollars.

In Irbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region, the dollar price also witnessed a rise, with sales reaching 123,300 per hundred dollars, and buying at a rate of 123200 per hundred US dollars.

According to exchange offices, the market is very affected by the news of the closure of the US embassy in Baghdad, which has increased the demand for dollars, which are considered stable and safe banknotes in the markets.
