Ahmed al-Hamdani said, in an interview with (Baghdad Today), that “the former prime minister Haider al-Abadi made important achievements in a difficult stage, foremost among which was the liberation of Iraqi lands from the terrorist organization ISIS, and the victory was thanks to the blood of the martyrs and the heroes and the fatwa of reference.”

Al-Hamdani added, “Al-Abadi stressed after the victory over ISIS, that he would defeat the corrupt and steal public money, which led the political forces to work against him and prevent him from a second term, as he was serious about fighting corruption and eliminating it,” noting that “prominent political figures are involved in Corruption prevents Abadi from returning to the premiership. ”

The leader of Al-Nasr coalition continued, “With the transformation of the regime in Iraq into a presidential one, because most of the public money was stolen through the parliament gate,” stressing that “converting the system to a presidential one may return Abadi to power, because he is the most acceptable and most fortunate in this position than others.” “.

The victory coalition spokesperson, Ayat Al-Mudhafar, had revealed on Tuesday (3 March 2020), the leader of the coalition, Haider al-Abadi, a single condition in exchange for receiving the prime minister again.

Al-Mudhafar said in a press statement I followed (Baghdad today) that “the head of the coalition, Haider al-Abadi, refuses to be assigned to the prime minister if he is nominated by the political blocs,” indicating that he would “agree to that if he was nominated by the people and the protesting masses.”

The Prime Minister, Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi, had submitted, on Monday 2 March 2020, his apology for the assignment to the President of the Republic, Barham Salih, who had agreed to it and pledged to name a replacement within 15 days.
