a source close to Prime Minister-designate Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi, denied on Friday, the nomination of names circulated by some media and social networking sites for the cabinet.
Al-Muqrab said in an interview with Mawazine News that he “categorically denies the nomination of the names circulating on social media and some media outlets, among them the nomination of Mahdi Damad Muhaisen to the Ministry of Agriculture.”
He added, “The circulation of these names is merely media speculation and the list of candidates is reserved with the Prime Minister-designate and will be announced in the parliament session next Monday to vote on giving it confidence.”
