Al-Nasr coalition denies Al-Abadi’s candidacy to head the next government

Al-Nasr coalition announced today, Monday, the fact that its president Haider al-Abadi was nominated to head the next government.
A member of the coalition of Ayat Al-Mudhafar denied in a statement, [where] she received a copy of it, news that Abadi was nominated for prime minister, describing it as “bare about health.”
Muzaffar emphasized that, since the protests began, Abadi has called for the selection of an independent figure to head the government, and that fabricating such news is aimed at undermining Abadi’s credibility and principled positions.
She noted that Al-Abadi is a statesman concerned with reforming the system and the safety of the people, away from cheap political competition.
