The head of the caretaker government, Adel Abdul Mahdi, Wednesday, that his government does not have the right to submit the budget, indicating that the public budget should have been submitted since the tenth month, but what happened from the events prevented it.
Abdul Mahdi said in a speech during the meeting of the Council of Ministers, “The past days were emergency sessions of the Council of Ministers and today is normal, different from the previous because the government turned to the conduct of things on a daily basis.”
He pointed out that “the caretaker government has specific powers and did not provide a budget or other projects,” expressing the government’s intention to “send the final accounts for the years from 2013 until now to the House of Representatives.”
