{Baghdad: Al Furat News} Ernst & Young has completed the audit of the final financial statements of the Central Bank of Iraq for the fiscal year 2018 on the legal date set for the end of March 2019.
The Central Bank of Iraq’s Accounting Department said in a statement received by the agency {Euphrates News} a copy of it that “the Board of Directors of the bank ratified those lists issued with a positive opinion {without reservation}, which shows the level of transparency under which the bank works and efforts in the presentation Activities and processes, and the level of disclosure that this institution has. ”
She added that “disclosure on time and in a positive opinion generates important impressions of the institutions and international banks that deal with Iraq, and that is working to encourage investors to deal with financial institutions and banking in Iraq as long as the regulatory body (central bank) .
It is noteworthy that the Central Bank of the first institutions in Iraq, which annually fulfills the requirements for the preparation and audit of the final financial statements on time and legally established, which gave the bank a prestigious position among the central banks in the region.
