The Ministry of Planning, on Monday, that Iraq is stable in inflation indicators, attributed to the data, including the monetary policy followed by the Central Bank.
The ministry spokesman Abdel-Zahra al-Hindawi said in an interview with “Trend Press” that “there is stability in the indicators of inflation in Iraq, and that the rise that occurs from time to time is normal,” pointing out that “inflation in neighboring countries rises more than compared with Iraq “He said.
He added that “stability of inflation is indicative of several factors, including: successful monetary policy followed by the Central Bank and contributed to the preservation of the value of the Iraqi dinar compared to the dollar, in addition to the state of consumer sufficiency of the citizen.”
