Kirkuk council voted to hold a referendum in the province[Kirkuk-Where] the

The head of the Kirkuk provincial council agency, Ribawar Talabani, told a news conference today, said that the Council “voted unanimously to demand a referendum in the city, Arabs and Turkmen in the province support our decision, as well as parliament rejected a resolution on raising the flag of Kurdistan to maintain.”
He added that ” the resolution voted on today is a new achievement and must abide by the federal government , ” and urged the prime minister, that he “can not procrastination in the implementation of Article 140 of the Iraqi Constitution, and call to resolve this issue as soon, because the people of Kirkuk will not take more than This”.
The Kirkuk Provincial Council decided to raise the flag of the Kurdistan region as well as the Iraqi flag on government buildings, the center of the province ‘s Arabs and Turkmen deputies in the provincial council session to vote last Thursday.
For his part , the parliament voted last Saturday to lift the only national flag in Kirkuk and the failure to act in the province ‘s oil.
For his part , said provincial council chairman Ribawar Talabani earlier time that the province will not implement the parliament ‘s decision as unfair to the Kurdish people, and we will continue to raise the Kurdistan region.
