US military official: the battle of Mosul may start soon

US military official said on Thursday he will have to organize the coalition , which is fighting Daesh start of the battle to restore the city of Mosul soon in order to achieve the goal of Iraq ‘s liberation of the city by the end of the year, but declined to say whether the attack would begin within a month.
The Wall Street Journal reported Thursday that Lt. Gen. Stephen Townsend , who took over last month command of US operations against the organization predicted in an interview to begin the battle of Mosul before early October.
Said John Dorian Air Force Col. and a spokesman for US forces in Iraq said in a statement the Ministry of Defence [ Pentagon] “in the end, if the desire is to try to accomplish that near the end of the year, you ‘ll need to start soon.”
but he refused to confirm the October date.
the Iraqi government has more than once confirmed it will announce the liberation city of Mosul , the end of 2016.
