Revealed a government source on Saturday, three ministerial lists of the Federation of Iraqi forces include nine candidates backed by political blocs leaders, most notably Osama Najafi, Saleh al-Mutlaq and Iyad Allawi and Fadel Dabbas to take over the defense portfolio in the current government, as he emphasized that the prime minister are all refusing.
The source said in an interview that “the first list of three candidates, including Karim Kamel al-Dulaimi, backed by the president of the East satellite Saad Bazzaz, and MP Badr stallion, backed by the Arab bloc led by Saleh al-Mutlaq, as well as, MP Ahmed al-Jubouri, backed by a coalition of Iraq, led by Fadel Dabbas “noting that” the first list of candidates supported by the parliament speaker Salim al-Jubouri and identity Diyala block that belongs to the latter. ”
“The second list is supported by the President of the National Accord Party, Iyad Allawi, and included Hisham al-Darraji and Raad Hamdani, as well as Falah al-Naqib,” noting that “the Prime Muttahidoon Osama Najafi supporting the third list, which included Hassani and Salem Daly.”
The source continued that “United will provide the names of its candidates tomorrow officially to Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, with lists of three candidates will not been approved by the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces.”
And that “national bloc led by Allawi will stick in its negotiations position of defense minister in exchange for abandonment of the Ministry of Commerce,” pointing out that “the forces of the coalition candidate would not be approved unless Abadi holds a stamp Parliament Speaker Salim al-Jubouri.”
The Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, in the twenty-eighth of August, his quest to provide candidates the vacant Cabinet to parliament after Eid al-Adha holiday.
