It called on the security and defense committee in the House of Representatives, on Saturday, the central government to open “immediate investigation armament deals” signed by the Ministries of Defense and Interior during the reign of al-Maliki
A member of the committee, Majid al-Gharawi, said that the security and defense committee calling on the government to open an investigation fair and transparent in all previous contracts concluded in the ministries of interior and defense, stressing the “need of the government assisted by experts in debt and financial control departments related to body integrity to make sure that the final accounts of the two ministries.”
He Ghraoui, that “the aim of the investigation was to show the facts and expose the corruption that occurred in the time of the previous government,” Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki.
