British newspaper the Financial Times warned that Iraq, with its oil-rich economy on the verge of collapse due to a corrupt political elite exploit sectarian control of the government and fill their pockets instead of improving public services.
The newspaper said in a report published on the situation in that country that the sectarian fighting that broke out in Iraq and the emergence of the “Daash” make some Iraqis nostalgic for the years they lived before the two thousand and three year.
Noting that this feeling began to spread among Shiites, Sunnis and Kurds alike, they see that democracy brought by the US occupation, with many of the bugs by the newspaper report.
