Political sources revealed the existence of differences between Tehran and Washington over the reshuffle in Iraq and the continuation of Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi in office.
As sources told the Kuwaiti politics made it clear that Tehran supports either a cabinet reshuffle includes thorough Abadi either an amendment to include the survival of the political minister with al-Abadi, while Washington wants to stay Abadi and a cabinet reshuffle allows the selection of independent ministers, technicians, not politicians.
The sources added that Tehran would prefer to change Abadi, because the next situation in the region, especially in Syria and Yemen, according to Iranian accounts, require the head of a government in Iraq closer to the Iranian-Syrian axis Russian as was the case in the era of former Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki .. noting that information on Iranian support for Ebadi is incorrect and misleading, because the Iranian position was opposed to the Sadrists sit around the green Zone.
