Follow-up – and babysit – predicted Iraqi Defense Minister Khaled al-Obeidi, Saturday, at a news conference that the liberalization of the city of Ramadi in western Iraq before the end of this month.
Was quoted by AFP as saying on al-Obeidi has “I met with the leadership of the joint operations and assured me that we will regain full city of Ramadi before the end of this month.”
He added that “the reason why the battle takes a long time is in order to avoid casualties among our troops and civilian casualties as there are still many civilians inside the city.”
The coalition spokesman Colonel Steve Warren had said on Friday that the city of Ramadi, now completely isolated and began the process of Iraqi security forces cleared.
