Washington has threatened, Baghdad to withdraw its troops from Iraq when exposed to attacks in that country.
She Iraqi government sources told Okaz that the US Secretary of Defense Ashton Carter, told Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi in a letter transmitted to him Washington’s ambassador in Baghdad, that certain information pointing to the existence of plans to carry out attacks on his country’s troops in Iraq.
He pointed out that Carter did not stop sending the message, but spoke by telephone with al-Abadi and his counterpart Khaled al-Obeidi in this regard, however, the source did not disclose the content of the two calls.
