Follow-up -oreet – US President Barack Obama expressed last night welcomed the decision taken by the Iraqi Council of Ministers on arming tribes and open the door to volunteers to add new forces in the military and develop a comprehensive plan for the recovery of the city of Ramadi in western Iraq from the hands of militants organize Daash.
In the White House statement, quoting Obama said during a meeting with the National Security Council that “the United States supports the efforts of the Prime Minister of Iraq, Haider al-Abadi and moved his government to open the door to volunteer army and the training and arming of tribes and local police to address the organization Daash”.
The statement pointed out that “the meeting discussed the US strategy in addressing the organization in Syria and Iraq, especially after the recent developments on the ground which led to the fall of Ramadi, Anbar province in the hands of Daash”.
