The source said in a press statement, “The Presidency of the parliament lifted, the third session of the second legislative term to the day after tomorrow,” he said, adding that “the meeting saw the host head of the Anbar provincial council and an official of the security committee in the province to discuss the security situation in the province.”
The source, who asked not to be named, said: “The council ended the first reading of the draft accession of the Republic of Iraq to the Occupational Safety and Health Promotional Framework Convention on the Law, and the first reading of the draft treaty contract law.”
The source confirmed that “the Council continued the second reading and discussion of the budget bill,” he said, adding that he “was identified on Monday as the last day to discuss the budget in the House of Representatives.”
“After that, the budget will be forwarded to the Finance Committee to take the views of the blocks and the House of Representatives and hosting stakeholders to then be submitted to a vote in the coming sessions.”
