12-1-2014 Newshound Guru Kaperoni Article: “Saleh: 2016 year is ideal for the deletion of zeros” Remember the CBI is currently going to great lengths to sustain the exchange rate within the IMF guidelines…holding within 2% for the past 30 – 40 days or so. It would be unlikely they would be doing this for a project that is 12 months or more away. Couple of things to remember…Iraq is in an urgent situation to create jobs, investment, stability, rebuild infrastructure, etc. etc. Opening the banking system to the world is key and a critical step that must happen “before” they will have success with all of that. They cannot sit idle for 12 months or more and hope to hold the economy in Iraq together, let along create stability…now is the time! As soon as the laws are in place, we will see the transition.

HE IS A WORKER AND HAS SAID WE HAVE A JOB TO COMPLETE AND WE WILL NOT TAKE A BREAK TILL IT IS COMPLETED. IF THEY CAN GET ENOUGH DONE AT ANYTIME FOR THE RV IT MATTERS NOT WHEN ACCORDING TO DATES THEY WILL RELEASE. BOTTOM LINE NO ONE CAN SAY WITH ANY FACTS OR ANY CONFIDENCE WHEN THEY WILL REACH THE STATUS NEEDED FOR THE CBI. I HAVE ALWAYS SAID WATCH THEIR ACTIONS NOT LISTEN TO THEIR WORDS AND THEIR ACTIONS SHOW WORK –GET THE JOB DONE EVEN BEFORE ALL SCHEDULED BREAKS.

CHINA HAS SERIOUS CURRENCY CHALLENGES ESPECIALLY AS IT STRUGGLES TO BECOME THE SECOND RESERVE CURRENCY IN THE WORLD!

I SUSPECT THE NEW BUDGET IS JUST ANOTHER STEP ON THE LADDER TO GET TO THE PROPER CIRCUMSTANCES. ONLY TIME WILL TELL BUT I SEE VERY CLEARLY THEY ARE MAKING STRIDES TO GET US THERE AND PROTECT THEMSELVES IN THE PROCESS.

12-1-2014 RUMOR Guru THE KURDS HAVE WHAT THEY WANT. YESTERDAY THE ONLY NEWS THAT HAD ANY MERIT WAS THE SALARIES BEING PAID WHICH SHOULD START TODAY AND THE KURDS WANTING 3-5% INCREASE WHICH IS THE HCL. LOOKS LIKE THE FINAL AGREEMENTS HAVE BEEN REACHED…THE KURDS GETTING WHAT THEY WANTED TURNED THE SNOW MACHINE ON FULL BLAST-YES. GOI + HCL = RV.

Fact check, there are still some major disputes concerning the budget and what the “Kurds” want. Abadi was so mad he walked out of the discussions, that should say it all. I believe that it will all be settled in due time but it certainly is not settled yet.

11-30-2014 TOTAL RUMOR Guru [If we think the budget was not passed because of low oil prices, think again! The US is behind all of this!] YES THAT IS A 100% LIE ABOUT NO BUDGET DUE TO OIL PRICES…IRAQ KNEW ALL ABOUT OIL PRICING BEING RESET AT THE GLOBAL OPEC CONFERENCE IN AUSTRIA ON THURSDAY.

THERE WERE SEVERAL NEWS ARTICLES THAT CLEARLY STATED THEY WERE COMPLETING AND FUNDING SOME FEW PROJECTS THAT WHERE ALREADY STARTED AND FUNDED WITHIN THE 2014 BUDGET WITH BORROWED MONIES AND ALL REMAINING PROJECTS WOULD BE MOVED TO THE 2015 BUDGET FOR PASSING AND THE 2015 BUDGET
(THIS WAS A EFFORT TO SPEED THINGS UP) WOULD BE AMENDED AND APPROVED IN THE NEXT COUPLE WEEKS. THOSE WEEKS HAVE PASSED AND THE 2015 BUDGET IS IN THE PM HANDS TO BE VOTED ON THIS WEEK.

11-30-2014 Newshound Guru Aggiedad77 Even though just a few years ago we were hoping for oil to hit $100/barrel…it makes sense that as the price of oil falls, the Iraqi’s will need to offset that in some manner…raising the rate would seem to be that solution.
