He added that the agreement ‘does not eliminate the right to export oil in the region, and the region will maintain its right to export until the parties to reach a final version of the legislation included a new law on oil and gas shall be binding on all parties to abide by its terms and its application’.

The MP pointed out that the region did not undertake during the negotiations held with the Minister of Oil parting with the idea of ‚Äč‚Äčexporting the oil, being a ‘constitutional entitlement guaranteed by Article 112 of the Iraqi constitution,’ he said, adding that the $ 500 million approved Baghdad on the disbursement of the territory is a precedent benefits for companies oil producers in the region.
