Chairman of the Department of Arab Affairs at the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Abdul Amir Hussein Allahaan, said Iraqi Vice President Nuri al-Maliki will visit Tehran, today (Sunday), for being meetings with Iranian officials.
The news agency quoted the Iranian official ‘Erna’, for Abdul Allahaan, saying that al-Maliki will discuss the latest developments on the Iraqi and regional arena, particularly the war on terrorism and the face of the organization ‘Islamic state’ (Daash), but observers Iraqis expected to be a meaningful visit to discuss the performance of the Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi and determine the future of the Dawa Party in Iraq under the leaks indicate that al-Maliki refuses to waive Ebadi for the party leadership.
Recall that after the arrival of Iraqi President Fuad Masum, the chair was Maliki’s appointment as his deputy, and this after the inauguration of Haider al-Abadi post of prime minister after the overthrow of Maliki in August / August last.
He visited al-Abadi, the capital of Tehran during the month of October / October last, and met with Supreme Leader Top, Ali Khamenei, and the president of Iran, Hassan Rohani, as well as other Iranian officials, and discussed with them the development of the Iraqi-Iranian relations at all levels, in addition to cooperation in combating terrorism in Iraq to achieve security and stability there as issued by Abadi and officials in Iran.
