BAGHDAD / obelisk: source revealed, today, Friday, for a meeting held today under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi with three figures to resolve the personal choice of interior minister.
The source said in an interview for “obelisk”, “Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi will hold a meeting today, featuring the Secretary-General of the Badr Organization, Hadi al-Amiri, Minister of Municipalities Abdul Karim Ansari and Education Minister Hussein al-Shahristani, to personally identify the position of Minister of the Interior.”
He added that “the position of Minister of the Interior will be decided on Friday.”
He guessed the head of the advocacy coalition of state law behind MP Abdul Samad, on Thursday, that the prime minister Haidar al-Abbadi the names of candidates for the security ministries to the House of Representatives on Saturday to vote on them.
The Prime Minister has asked, yesterday, of Parliament give him 24 hours in order to complete his consultations with the political blocs to nominate competent persons for the security ministries.
