Presidency announced on Monday that President Fuad Masum and his entourage on Sunday evening to the United States to participate in the 69th Session of the General Assembly of the United Nations in New York.
According to a presidential statement received news agency public opinion, a copy of the “infallible President will deliver a speech at the United Nations Iraq will also meet a number of kings and presidents and senior officials of brotherly and friendly countries during his time in New York.”
The statement pointed out that he “was greeted by the President and the Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari, Iraq’s representative at the United Nations, Ambassador Mohammed Ali Hakim.”
