Confirmed the parliamentary legal committee, said Friday that the right of the judiciary to execute warrants against the members of the parliament after the parliamentary immunity in the current June 14, pointing to the existence of an arrest warrant for 13 MPs, including various charges related to “terrorism.”
Said committee member Hassan Safi in an interview for “Alsumaria News”, “The judiciary issued in the previous period 13 arrest warrants for members of the House of Representatives on various charges, including terrorism-related and other financial and administrative corruption”, adding that “the Commission has sent a letter to the Presidency of the Council of Representatives demanded by the lifting of the immunity of 13 deputies for interrogation, but the book and ordered the arrest have not been implemented for the existence of parliamentary immunity protects those members. ”
