4-14-2012- Enorrste: Shabibi does not have to report to the Council of Ministers, nor will he have explaining to do if he should elect to visit them. He already has the full backing of Parliament, to whom he does have to report. The supposed “halt” of the “remove the three zeros” by the Cabinet is vaccuous. They have no authority in the matter per the Constitution. Parliament has also stated that they have no authority, and Saleh stated last week that no law needs to be passed or regulations from the Cabinet. In fact, he said, all that needs to be done is a posting of the regulations for exchange in the Gazette….
4-14-2012- Adam Montana: The articles being released by Iraq…I know a lot of times they contradict themselves a LOT, but in this case there is a LOT of arrows pointing towards September. If they truly do redenominate and release new notes in September, they almost HAVE to do something by then.Whether we break even or make out like bandits, it must happen by the time they release the new notes.

SEVERAL OF THE ARTICLES COMING FROM IRAQ AND MY CONTACTS CLEARLY SAYS THE SAME THING, CHAPTER 7 IS BEING RESOLVED AND…THE RELEASE OF CHAPTER 7 GIVES IRAQ THE AUTHORITY TO HAVE COMPLETE CONTROL OVER THE REVALUE AND THIS WILL BE SETTLED TODAY OR TOMORROW. IRAQ HAS EVERY INTENTION TO BRING THE DINAR TO THE PREVIOUS RATE AND I DO EXPECT IT TO BETWEEN 3.46 AND 4.00.
4-14-2012- Hammerman: USA MET WITH CHINA, JAPAN, KWT, AND THE 3 PRESIDENTS OF IRAQ IN WASHINGTON. THEY ALL WERE ONLY HERE A SHORT TIME…LIKE 2 HOURS. ALL WENT GREAT. THE RV OF IQD WAS SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN LAST NIGHT, DUE TO THIS MEETING WAS STOPPED. US IS NO LONGER HOST COUNTRY. WE GAVE IT AWAY FREELY. NOT SURE WHY BUT NEW HOST CODES MUST BE DONE. BANKS ALL HAVE THE RATES AN ARE READY. WE LOOK GREAT BUT WITH THE DELAYS. LOOKS LIKE RV SOMETIME BETWEEN THE 17TH TO 23RD OF APRIL IS WHAT I WAS TOLD.
