Baghdad (AIN) -The Iraqi Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki called the moderate figures to stand against the extremists and Takfiris and consolidate the national unity and the social texture.
A statement by the Iraqi PM reported “Maliki stressed during receiving a delegation of chieftains and notable figures from around Iraq, that the state will not show tolerance with any outlaw side, calling the tribal leaders to cooperate with the security forces with their tasks.”
“Albu Issa tribe’s representatives, for their part, confirmed their support to the government to strengthen security, noting “this large tribe represents good model for the Iraqi harmonious tribes which comprise all the Iraqi people’s components,” the statement added.
