Compensation Commission decided to UN push billion and an additional $ 300 million to Kuwait within the compensation received by the Iraqi occupation in 1990.

The Commission said in a statement from its headquarters in Geneva that “it’s about compensation on damage caused by oil installations and losses in revenue resulting therefrom”.

The statement disclosed “These amounts are funded through the five percent tax imposed by the UN Security Council on Iraqi oil sales.”
