Musawi criticizes attempts to internationalize crisis between CG, KRG over disputed areas
Baghdad (AIN) –MP, Sameera al-Musawi, of the State of Law Coalition criticized the attempts to internationalize the crisis between the Central Government and the Kurdistani Regional Government over the disputed areas.
She stated to AIN “Such attempts are unacceptable since it is essentially a problem rather than a crisis and those who want to internationalize it have not patriotic intentions.”
“The disputes and the pending issues between the CG and KRG are to be solved through dialogues according to the constitution where the two sides confirmed ruling out the military solution,” she added.
Over the possibility of the UN interference in this issue, she said “It is possible for the UNAMI to suggest a compromise to convince the disputed sides and to preserve the rights of all but the Iraqi option is still the best.”
