Rafidain Bank announced on Wednesday an 81.5% increase in electronic collections during August.
A statement from the bank, received by Al-Maalomah News Agency, indicated that “Rafidain Bank achieved significant growth in electronic collections, with the value of settlements processed for government departments during August 2026 exceeding 1.35 trillion dinars, comprising 77,671 settlements covering 2,836 government departments.”
Compared to August 2025, the statement noted “an 81.5% increase in the value of settlements, a 24.2% increase in their number, and a 33.5% increase in the number of government departments activating the system.”
The statement added that “these results reflect tangible progress in expanding electronic collection, enhancing the efficiency of government revenue management, and promoting transparency and digital transformation in state institutions.”
