United Nations General Assembly: General debate begins September 25 at 9am EST

25 September – 1 October 2012

During the General Debate, Heads of State or Government and other representatives of national governments present their views and comment on issues of individual national and international relevance.  The theme of the debate, chosen by the President of the 67th session is “Adjustment or settlement of international disputes or situations by peaceful means”.
