American robots to clear the Strait of Hormuz of Iranian mines

A report in the Wall Street Journal on Saturday stated that America used robots to remove mines in the Strait of Hormuz.
The newspaper quoted officials as saying that a number of ships were able to cross the Strait of Hormuz after turning off their tracking devices, confirming that the US military coordinated with ships that crossed the strait.
US President Donald Trump confirmed on Friday that he is preparing to make a “final decision” on a possible agreement with Iran.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump announced that the naval blockade on Iran would now be lifted, writing, “Ships stuck in the Strait because of the incredible and unprecedented naval blockade, which we will now lift, can begin the process of returning home!”
In contrast, according to Trump’s post, Iran must immediately open the Strait of Hormuz, without tolls, to unrestricted maritime traffic in both directions, and work to remove all remaining sea mines, if any, after many of them were removed by detonation, using advanced US naval minesweepers.
The British Navy had announced its readiness to contribute to clearing mines from the Strait of Hormuz.
She noted that hundreds of British sailors are waiting for orders to begin their duties as soon as a peace agreement is reached between Washington and Tehran.
