4/28/2012 Ali [long time no see] Iraq is making moves to sign construction, oil and gas contracts everyday. They also made a big move by holding the Arab League Summit, although many nations did not attend, it was a big leap. These are all positive signs for Iraq and in my opinion things could begin really changing in the country.
4/28/2012 8Ball Speaker of the house has flown into Ebril to meet Allawi, Sadr, Barzani and Talibani. Allawi is the key player being that he will most likely be the next PM. Barzani has called all Kurdish ministers to Baghdad. Allawi maybe doing the same. If Sadr does this the Speaker of the house can call and extraordinary session. Yes the speaker of the house is the man of the hour, Allawi to take the PM position is my guess…they are working on it…Calling a Saturday session…this could be an emergency session, though they are not saying it this way…the National Convention, the first of May is a great sign…Handling Maliki may now be the delay…Voting him out of office.
4/28/2012 SWFloridaGuy We have some major issues being addressed that are great signs of this investment coming to fruition. Finally, it appears that Talabani and Barzani have successfully made arrangements to hold the National Conference and it is tentatively scheduled to be held in Baghdad next week. This coming Sunday and Monday, Kuwait and Iraq will look to finalize bilateral agreements that will lead to Iraq’s full release from Chapter VII.
4/28/2012 Med UNTIL THE PARLIAMENT AND UNTIL THE NATIONAL CONFERENCE IS HELD, I RIGHT NOW HAVE NO REAL CLUE WHERE WE ARE AT RIGHT NOW. SOMETHING DEFINITIVE AND SET IN STONE HAS TO COME OUT OF THE CONF AND IT HAS TO BE SIGNED SEALED AND DELIVERED. IT IS GOING TO COME TO A SHOWDOWN IF THE CONF FAILS …IT WILL BE MALIKI WINS OR HE IS OUT, THAT SIMPLE.
4/28/2012 Jonnywg CALL FROM THE BANKER BOY [BANKER BILL?] , AND TONIGHT [FRIDAY] THE RATE SHOWED LIVE AT THE TELLER SCREEN FOR 15 MINUTES…HE ALSO SAID THAT IN HIS OPINION THE RATE SHOULD SHOW LIVE TOMORROW [SATURDAY] BY 11AM EST. [apparently there are 2 different Banker Bills that work with different gurus…looks like Jonnywg’s Banker Bill might now be Banker Boy to avoid confusion?]
